Tango weekend with Carlos Quilici's 11-man orchestra

 
 
We're happy to invite you to a weekend with live tango music! Halmstad will be visited by Orquesta de Carlos Quilici, a well known and appreciated orchestra from Rosario in Argentine. They will be playing classical tango compositions, among others by Carlos Quilici himself. You find an example at:

Program
 
 
Friday February 19th
 
DANCE AT CAFÉ STRANDGATAN TJUGO at 7pm -12 am. The orchestra will be playing (with a break) until 9 pm. The coffee shop will be open as long, among other things soup is served. After 9 we continue dancing with DJ Lucia Quinteros. Entrance fee: 150 SEK. 

 
Saturday February 20th
 
DANCING AT THE LIBRARYS' BEAUTIFUL NISSANSCEN, a unique opportunity to dance tango on the water! "Whole library dances tango" 12pm - 4pm. Concert at 3pm. Free entrance.

The librarys' description of the event:
"WHOLE LIBRARY DANCES TANGO - Come and take part of a day with colours and contageous rhytms from Argentine. Experience Orquesta de Carlos Quilici with a repertoire that involves all senses. Try dancing tango or move to the Argentinian rhythms as you like. Create in colour and shapes and taste Argentinian deliciacies. For all ages."

TANGO NIGHT AT THE SWEDEN HOTEL CONTINENTAL Kungsgatan 5, at 6:30-24 pm. The orchestra will be playing (with a break) between 8-10 pm. We then continue dancing with DJ Cecilia Carlson.
 
The hotel has designed a special offer for tango or just curious guests this weekend:
6:30 pm: Book a table and get a tapas buffet with a glass of wine, 245 SEK
7:30 pm: Entrance for those with a mingle ticket: tapas buffet and a glass of wine at a standing table, 195 SEK
9 pm: Later entrance for non-eating guests, 100 SEK

Friday - Sunday: 1195 SEK/person as part of a double room and 1795 SEK in a single room. Including breakfast, tapas buffet and wine at a sitting table and dance.
